An introduction to the twin shaft mixer:

Assembling structure of double shaft mixer:

The double-shaft agitator mainly consists of a casing, a screw shaft, a drive, a coverplate, a chain cover, etc., with the following specific structure and performance features:

1) The shell is mainly composed of plates and profiles, which are welded and formed in the manufacturing plant and assembled with other parts, and is the supporting structure of the double-shaft mixer.

2) The spiral shaft assembly is the main component of the double shaft mixer, and its components mainly include the left and right rotating spiral shafts, the bearing seat, the bearing bush, the bearing cover, the gear, the blade and other parts.

Principle of operation of twin-shaft mixers:

  • The material to be mixed is fed into the mixing vessel through the inlet opening.
  • Two mixing shafts are driven by the motor. They rotate in opposite directions. The shafts are fitted with helically arranged mixing blades to ensure efficient mixing of the materials.
  • The mixing paddles attached to the rotating shafts ensure thorough mixing of the products as they rotate.
  • In the overlapping area of the twin shafts, materials with different rotational directions are displaced and interact. This increases the overall mixing efficiency. This dynamic interaction ensures complete mixing of the materials. This contributes to the superior performance of the twin shaft mixer.
